On January 19, 2020, the National Service Reserve Corps led the distribution of
700 relief bags (hygiene and food packs) in Brgy. Lamesa, Calamba City, Laguna.
The evacuees are mostly from the towns of Talisay and Laurel, Batangas.
Students, both from Tertiary and SHS, pitched in resources to contribute to this
I-Tam-Bahaginan. Our student leaders took the time and effort to personally share
relief goods and exchange stories with the evacuees.
Volunteers from the National Service Training Program (NSTP) helped in receiving,
sorting and packing the relief goods. The Library Services, Registrar’s Office,
and Human Resource Office also sent volunteers as additional manpower.
The Security Personnel of our campus also volunteered for this project in ensuring
the proper turn-over of the relief packages and safety of the volunteers.
Tamaraws for Taal was organized by the Community Extension and Services Unit.
We thank everyone for all your help and support!
