FEU Alabang expressed its love for the English language with the ICEO Real Talk held last February 14 at the café-styled MPR.
Initiated by the College English Department, the Computer Engineering Organization, and the Honors' Society, the event launched the "I Communicate in English Only" (iCEO) campaign of the FEU Alabang community. Students & resource speakers shared various topics and tips on how to communicate effectively in English.
There were contests for Poster Making & Impromptu Speech for Senior High School (SHS) and College students. Creativity and style flourished as well throughout the Open Mic session which provided an opportunity for the students to portray their artistry in poetry and prose pieces.
Miguel Angelo Gutierrez copped the first place in the Poster Making Contest. Karen Louise Magdadaro won 1st place at the Impromptu Speech Contest for college students while Joseph Laurence Tajan and Daniel Elis Tejones bagged 2nd and 3rd place respectively. Meanwhile, for the SHS category of the Impromptu Speech Contest, Edgardo Angelo Ferry won 1st place, Matthew Adapon landed in 2nd place, and Jan Pauline Camarte earned 3rd place.
